Just discovered they made a Netflix series for "A series of Unfortunate Events", so I am going to give it a try. Neil Patrick Harris plays the bad guy ^^

Yes, I would recommend that. Neil Patrick Harris as Count Olaf; I mean, come on! I never would have thought of that! And it was a good book series.

I actually never read the book series, but I liked the movie. But yes, so far, I am loving Neil Patrick Harris as Count Olaf :D

Well, the movie was okay, but the problem is that the books had a special level of intricacy and detail layers that it couldn't do. But so far, this series looks like it might, so I'm rather happy.

I should probably get the books, but yeah, the movie could only do so much. But a TV show? It can go into a lot of detail.

Now I can see all the fun stuff. There's just one thing I don't get...

Patrick Warburton as Lemony Snicket. Um... I... what? Okay, that could either go really well or really poorly.

I'll admit, he's not bad, but I am personally not too big of a fan of the narrator. He does his job well, he doesn't take anything away, but still, he can be a little... Distracting.

The problem is because A) that is Lemony Snicket's role in the movie; in the books, he has actually a crucial part to his own story the more time goes on, B) his interventions are actually useful because they provide context and actually subtle hints of what is to come not just now, but way in the future, and C) Lemony is meant to be faceless.

Now, Warburton... no offense to him, but Patrick Warburton... I do like him as an actor, but he just... as Lemony... it just doesn't work. If he was faceless doing this, even, it would be... weird... but it might just work more.

I agree, he at least does good when you can't see him XD
